Discover Osuna through play
Osuna is the birthplace of the Téllez-Girón family, one of the most important noble houses in Spanish history. That is why Don Juan Téllez-Girón, 4th Count of Ureña and father of the first Duke of Osuna, is the character chosen in the Marco Topo game to introduce the city's main monuments. The Marco Topo adventure guides you through both the lower and upper parts of Osuna and also reveals other landmarks such as the Roman Necropolis and the Coto de las Canteras. In the lower part of town, Calle San Pedro will surprise you with the beautiful façades of its buildings and is considered one of the loveliest streets in Europe. Two fine Baroque palaces stand out here: the Cilla del Cabildo and the Palace of the Marquises of La Gomera. You will also see the bullring, which was used as a filming location for an episode of the television series Game of Thrones. In the upper part, the game takes you to three majestic buildings founded by the 4th Count of Ureña in the 16th century: the Monastery of the Incarnation, the Old University and the Collegiate Church.
