Discover Antequera through play
The Marco Topo interactive game in Antequera allows families with children aged 5 to 12 to explore independently, taking a self-guided visit through both the city and the Dolmens Site and El Torcal. Exploration challenges highlight Antequera's rich historical, natural and cultural heritage. This Marco Topo adventure consists of two routes: one visits the main monuments in the town centre and the other explores the Dolmens Site and El Torcal. Each route is marked on a paper map with 12 challenges whose content is accessed using a mobile phone and the game's web app. Once inside the game, the characters pose different puzzles and questions that encourage children to explore and discover Antequera's heritage in a fun and educational way. The urban route visits iconic Antequera landmarks such as the Alcazaba, the Collegiate Church, the Giants' Arch, El Portichuelo and Plaza de San Sebastián. The second route includes the World Heritage locations: the Dolmens of Menga and Viera, the Tholos of El Romeral and the karst landscape of El Torcal de Antequera.
