For this adventure, Marta Topo, Marco’s sister, is dressed as the Lady of Elche, while the game’s cast of characters guides children and adults through the historic centre. Families taking part in the treasure hunt will enjoy educational challenges and discover Elche’s rich historical, cultural and natural heritage in a very entertaining way. The Marco Topo route in Elche introduces fascinating aspects of the city’s three UNESCO-recognised World Heritage traditions and sites: the Palm Grove, the Mystery Play of Elche and the Pusol School Museum. During the game, you will explore the Palm Grove and discover some of its most remarkable palm trees, walk through the historic centre and learn surprising facts about the mysterious Lady of Elche and the sung drama regarded as the city’s most distinctive cultural tradition: the Mystery Play of Elche. Elche also offers plenty for families to enjoy, including wonderful beaches, the Río Safari animal conservation centre, the Multiaventura Elche adventure park and the city’s tourist train.
