Discover La Orotava through play
In the La Orotava adventure, Marta and Marco Topo wear the town's traditional costume and set you fun challenges for sightseeing with children. The route proposed by the Topo siblings takes you to iconic buildings such as Casa de los Balcones, with its impressive continuous balconies carved from Canary Island pine, and Casa Eladia Machado, where you can discover traditional Canary Islands crafts and a representation of the spectacular carpets made with volcanic sand from Teide each year for Corpus Christi. You will also visit landmarks such as the Town Hall, the Liceo de Taoro Cultural Society and the gardens of the Marquesado de la Quinta del Sordo. At the Hijuela del Botánico you will see plants from all over the world and learn interesting facts about dragon trees, a characteristic tree-like plant of the Canary Islands. The Topo siblings will also guide you through the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, one of the finest examples of Baroque art in the Canary Islands, and the Church of Santo Domingo. The game also takes you to museums such as the Ibero-American Crafts Museum of Tenerife, representing crafts from across Ibero-America, and the Telesforo Bravo Visitor Centre, where you will learn fascinating facts about Teide National Park and its endemic species.
