Marco Topo and his sister Marta arrive in Seville aboard the Victoria, the ship that became the first vessel to sail around the world in the 16th century. This feat began and ended at the docks of Seville 500 years ago, and to commemorate such an extraordinary adventure Marco is dressed as Ferdinand Magellan, who led the first part of this pioneering expedition. On the promenade beside the River Guadalquivir, very close to the Torre del Oro, the Giráldez family welcomes the Topo siblings and shows them both iconic and lesser-known places in this part of Seville. This interactive game, guided by the Giráldez family, proposes fun challenges at places such as Plaza de América, María Luisa Park, Plaza de España and the New York Wharf. The adventure also takes you to Triana, Seville's traditional pottery district, where you will discover its market and the Church of Santa Ana, popularly known as the Cathedral of Triana. The Giráldez family pays special attention to the Magellan-Elcano expedition and shows you a reconstruction of the Victoria, the First Voyage Around the World interpretation space and the Muelle de las Mulas, from where the expedition departed in 1519. https://youtu.be/gWwjySFSqOI
