Marco Topo is both a game and a tourist guide to Lucena. With a map and a mobile phone, families discover the town by completing different challenges and questions. Each time they pass a challenge, they free one of the Flopis captured by the game’s villain and place the corresponding sticker on their map as a reward. Located in the Córdoba Subbaetic Mountains, Lucena is highly significant within Spain’s Jewish heritage. Also known as the “Pearl of Sepharad”, it has many attractions that are well worth visiting with children. El Moral Castle, the Church of San Mateo, the Santiago district and Plaza Nueva are among the places visited in the Marco Topo game. It is also interesting to visit the Jewish necropolis and discover local wetlands such as Laguna Amarga Nature Reserve, Laguna de los Jarales Nature Reserve and the Malpasillo Reservoir natural area.
